Verizon has confirmed that it is working to fix the issue which Motorola Droid X users came across after they installed the Android 2.2 on the device.

Not all Droid X users reported the problems with Froyo update however few found the issues in the Android Messaging App. According to the reports, both outgoing and incoming messages were affected by the problem.

Android 2.2 issues on Droid X are not limited to Messaging App as some users also reported to have problems with the Audio. Verizon has not specifically told that which problem it is fixing but it is common understanding that it will address all known and unknown issues in the device.

Unlike iPhone antenna issue, Droid X problem doesn’t seem to be related to hardware of the handset.
