Google to launch Google TV with Sony, Intel, Logitech and others

With the partnerships industry leaders, Google is able to launch software that serves both to search the Internet for television programs or personal files. The system was developed on top of Android platform and runs on Google Chrome.
During the Annual Conference of programmers at Google, Google unveiled the company has signed up with partners for Google TV.
While Intel has already announced that an Atom CE4100 processor that improves the performance of the new platform, the Sony with the launch of an Internet TV and Logitech has promised to launch this first products compliant with the new platform. A statement from Google adds that the new platform can operate any TV channel.
Besides the TV channels, the new platform should also allow access to services and content on demand like Netflix, Amazon On Demand and even YouTube.
