X-Ray Google Doodle: Google marks X-Rays’ discovery with special logo

November 8th, 2010GoogleIf Google is set as the homepage of your browser then you must have noticed that the search giant is celebrating the 115th brithday of X-Rays’ Discovery.
X-Ray was first acciendently discovered by German Scientist, Wilhelm Rontgen, in 1885. Rontgen was investigating the cathode rays when he came across X-Rays emanating from Crookes tubes. According to the X-Ray history, the German Scientist did the first X-Ray experiment on the hand of his wife. Wilhelm Rontgen gets the credit of all devices including the X-Ray machine because his discovery made all inventions possible.
Google celebrate important events through the Google Doodle. This year, among the most striking are the doodles interactive logo to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Pac-Man and the video that recalled the 70th anniversary of John Lennon.
