Amazon delays New Kindle 3 ship date for a week to September 4

August 4th, 2010e-ReadersAmazon.com has further delayed the ship date of new Kindle 3 which it released this week. Initially it was expected that Seattle based retailer will ship the new version of Amazon Kindle by August 27. However Amazon.com has delayed it for a week to September 4.
Amazon Kindle 3, which was recently launched, was sold out in just five days. New Kindle 3 has two versions. One which cost $139 supports only Wi-Fi connectivity whereas Wi-Fi + 3G Kindle 3 is sold for $189. Amazon.com still accepts order of the device but doesn’t guarantee the ship date of the e-Reader. “(Amazon Kindle is) Temporarily Sold Out. (You can) Order now to reserve your place in line” says Amazon website.
