Samsung released the Galaxy Tab early this month. The device immediately received a lot of media attention after the company executive unveiled it in the technology conference in Berlin . Technology critics also wasted no time to give positive reviews to the new Apple iPad competitor.

PC World, however, took different side today as the magazine listed five reasons of why people should not buy Samsung Galaxy Tab as compared to Apple iPad. The magazine considered different features of Galaxy Tab to come to the conclusion against Samsung Tablet.

The magazine pointed out that iPad display size is much bigger than that of Galaxy Tab. The article also noted that Apple device has sharper resolution of 1024 x 768 which is better than 1024 x 600 of Galaxy Tab. PC World also noted that the battery life of iPad is much better as compared to that of Samsung device. The requirement of contract with wireless carrier to get the Samsung Galaxy Tab was also one of the reasons to avoid the tablet.

Even though Samsung has not announced the price of the Galaxy Tab in U.S.  but it is easy to predict that Galaxy Tab will be more expensive than iPad considering the price of the device in UK and Germany.
