Motorola Droid X rooted with success

Rooting the Android powered phone is the most important thing to load the customer ROM on the devices.
Earlier, there was rumor that Phone will be brick itself if device detects the user attempting to boot the device with unathorized software.
Some believe that there is no reason to root Motorola Droid X because it also has latest Android 2.1 installed and Verizon has already announced that it will push Android 2.2 on the phone.
Droid X was released just a week ago on July 15 and it has remained out-of-stock since then. Phone cost $199 with $100 rebated and Verizon Wireless Service contract.
Meanwhile, the display problem that some users were experiencing with device is appeared to be fixed. Verizon official said that the problem is happening in less than one tenth of one percent of mobiles. Affected users can take their cell phone to local verizon outlet and will get it fixed. however, update to fix the problem is being pushed for Droid X customers.
