Even though number of retailer will offer the discounted Microsoft Office Mac 2011 on Black Friday 2010 but Amazon seems to be the winner in this case. Amazon offers Microsoft Home & Student 1-pack for only $79 . Amazon will give $40 off on the product on Black Friday 2010. Other retailers including Best Buy will also have software on the big day according to the retailers’ Black Friday 2010 Ads.
Retailers like Walmart, Target, Radio Shack and Best Buy are expected to offer discounts on different type of hardware and software products on Black Friday 2010. Quick scan on Walmart Black Friday Ads show that Walmart will have number of games on shevles at cut down prices on Black Friday 2010. Apart from Software and Games, the retailer will carry at least four model of Laptop on the big shopping day of 2010.
Amazon is yet to release its whole Black Friday 2010 plans. However, Walmart will be opened at the midnight with Black Friday Deals. Walmart doors will be reopened at 5AM for Black Friday 2010 door buster deals.

Microsoft has announced its brand-new webstore for PC Games as part of Windows Marketplace. The company said that service will be launched in the mid of next month. “Microsoft Corp. today announced the Games for Windows Marketplace, a new online PC games store that combines the convenience of the Web with the power of Games on Demand online distribution.” the press release says.
According to reports, the Webstore will have great number of PC Games including “Flight Simulator, Grand Theft Auto III, Lego Universe, Max Payne, and others. “Games for Windows Marketplace will launch with a managed portfolio of 100 top-quality titles “, said Microsoft in the PR.
User will need Windows Live ID to access that new service by Microsoft. Windows Live ID is the same account which is used by Microsoft’s users to access Hotmail and other Live services.

The Software Giant, Microsoft, has made new promotional clips for its news motion-sensing Xbox 360 accessory The Kinect. The clip seems to be the part of “You Are The Controller” ad campaign which company launched last month.
The videos are showing the newly released games as well as motion-sensing feature of the device. Microsoft plans to release the Xbox 360 accessory, The Kinect, on November 04.Sony has also launched similar product for PlayStation. According to reports, the Japanese Manufacturer has sold 250,000 units of PlayStation Move since it launch last month. Microsoft seems to expect similar results from The Kinect for Xbox 3560.

The Software Giant has partnered with three Asian and One American Manufacturers to develop the new line of Microsoft OS powered phones. Dell showcased one smartphone in the event while Both Samsung and LG released two Windows Phone 7 powered smartphones. HTC, however, seems to believe to much on Microsoft Windows Phone 7 OS because it released five smartphones in the event.
Out of ten phones, only six will hit will U.S. stores. T-Mobile, AT&T and Sprint will reportedly carry these phone. AT&T co-hosted the New York event with Microsoft yesterday and Microsoft named the wireless service provider as premier partner.
HTC HD7, HTC 7 Surround, HTC 7 Pro, Samsung Focus, LG Quantum, Dell Venue Pro will be released in the U.S.

Now IBM has just given one more blow to Internet Explorer, by issuing a statement to its more than 400 000 employees from this time, the browser Mozilla is to be adopted by default on all machines of your company.
Bob Sutor, IBM’s vice president for Division Linux and open source software, said in his blog that “Firefox is stunningly standards compliant, and interoperability via open standards is key to IBM’s strategy.
