Amazon has enabled the one-day shipping option for Amazon Kindle 3. The device was recently launched with great success by Amazon which is one of the biggest online retailer in the world.  Because of the high demand of Amazon Kindle 3, Amazon was taking a couple of weeks to fulfill the orders.  However, it seems that either Kindle 3 demand has decreased or Amazon has stocked a lot of new Kindle 3 devices to meet the high demand of its e-Reader device.

Looks like Amazon Kindle is more preferred over Apple shiny iPad. Though Apple could have thousands of application and when it comes to competition with Amazon kindle in the eBook area, iPad is less desirable than Kindle.
Recently new studies came out that shows that majority of people prefer Kindle over iPad. However, the majority also said that iPad is “more compelling” due to its multitasking features.
The studies was done by One News Page which asked questions to about 1000 people in UK and US readers about their preference for e-book reader.

“The e-book has come of age. The Kindle has built a strong position as a specialist e-reader. Its new version is considerably cheaper and lighter than the iPad, which may explain why two thirds of our users preferred it to the iPad as an e-reader,” said Dr Marc Pinter-Krainer, CEO of One News Page.
He further said “it’s clear the iPad as an e-book platform is already giving Amazon a stiff challenge and there’s everything to play for as Apple only launched the iPad in March this year.”

Amazon recently announced that its new device is the bestselling item on Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk. To expand the availability of its brand, Amazon has signed an agreement with staples to sell Kindle in its 1500 stores in North America.
