Apple has once again delayed the launch of iOS 4.2. The software, which was supposed to be launched earlier this month, has been postponed till November 24. It is difficult to know the exact reason of the delay of iOS 4.2 release. However there are few possibilities including the Verizon iPhone.

Verizon iPhone 4:  There are rumors which regards to iOS 4.2 and Verizon iPhone. Few news sources are now speculating that iOS 4.2 will come along Verizon iPhone 4 which is due to be released early next year. It is very difficult to see that what is happening on the Apple side. However, the possibility of the combined launch of Verizon iPhone and iOS 4.2 may not make any sense.

Wi-Fi Bug: Electronista reported that Apple testers have found a Wi-Fi bug in iOS 4.2 powered devices during the testing phase. The report indicated that the bug was not in all devices.

Whatever is the reason iOS 4.2 delay but the bottom line is that iPhone 4 and iPad owners will have to wait for some more time until they get the new OS.

Conclusion: It will not surprise me to see Verizon iPhone and iOS 4.2 together considering the secretive culture and surprising history of Apple.

Every time Google celebrates anytime with Google Doodle, the first thing many people do is to find the related apps on iPhone and Android phones. We all know that Google Doodle is celebrating the discovery of X-Rays today. Therefore, we checked iPhone App Store for X-Rays related Apps.

Google X-RaysX-rays App is the first application if we search “X-rays” on Apple iPhone App Store. X-rays App is not the X-rays engine but the App provides number of X-ray images for users to identify the broken or fractured bones. The App seems to be designed for Medical professionals unless someone is very interested in bones regardless of profession.

X-Rays app provides limited X-ray images in the free version but user can unlock the full list of images by purchasing the complete version. All X-Ray images in the application are available offline.

Simple search on Android Market also gives the number of X-Ray related Apps. “X-Ray Instrumentation” is the first in that list.

Apple has indirectly acknoledged that it has killed the white version of iPhone 4. However, at the same time, company indirectly confirmed that it will bring White iPhone 5. Apple said the in the statement yesterday that it will not launch new White iPhone until Sprint 2011. “We’re sorry to disappoint customers waiting for the white iPhone again,” Apple spokeswoman Trudy Muller was quoted as saying by Reuters.

The short statement raise many questions. One question is related to the carrier of the phone. There are rumors that Verizon will be first carrier to have White iPhone 4. Or in simple words, Verizon iPhone is actually the White Model of iPhone 4.

One can only confirm the Verizon iPhone (or iPhone CDMA) rumors from Apple  or Verizon Wireless.  However, Verizon should consider itself lucky if it gets White Verizon iPhone 4. Many AT&T customers have not renewed their contract just because of White iPhone and it is likely that good percentage of these customers may switch to Verizon.

T-Mobile G2, which was released this week, has come under the fire of complains. Engadget reported that some G2 phones loose hinges. The video released by the tech blog shows that phone screen hangs if its held upside down as shown in the picture. The report noted that even though most human don’t hold any phone that way but still the smartphone should not come with this type of problem.

The second issue is with regards to the storage of the phone. Some users reported that T-Mobile G2 has 2GB storage instead of the promised 4G. It looks like that it is an honest mistake which could have happened in the packaging of the phone. T-Mobile will most probably replace with 2G SD Cards with 4G Cards.
