Apple held yet another event last week. The California based Tech Company unveiled number of new products including new MacBook Air, Mac OS X Lion and FaceTime for Mac. Verizon iPhone and White iPhone 4 are two major products which were not released in the event despite their high demand.

Apple is giving cheap update of iLife ’11 suite to those who bought their Mac Computer this month. Apple announced the latest version of iLife in the “Back to the Mac” event yesterday. The standard price of the software if $49. With $6.99 price, the owners of new Mac computers will get about $42 discount on newly released software.
The discounted price is valid up until November 19. There is no web interface to buy the low price iLife ’11. Erictric reported that eligible customers must fill up the form and send through mail or fax.

British based Tech Blog talked to White iPhone 4 owner in NYC building this week. The owner of the phone explained, when asked by the blog representative, that Apple is having issues with regards to the White iPhone 4 parts. He gave further details that white color of home button is not as white as the faceplate of phone.
The luck White iPhone 4 owner said that his friend in Apple HQ help him get the rare phone. Apple CEO, Steve Jobs, was seen as holding the white version of iPhone 4 when he unveiled the fourth-generation iPhone in the Worldwide Developers Conference in June 2010.If the explanation of White iPhone 4 delay is believed then it means that Apple still have long way to make iPhone 4 (White) available in U.S. stores. It will be too late for Apple to launch white colored iPhone 4 in January or later as iPhone 5 (or iPhone 4G) is due to be released in the mid of next year.

Apple has released the second beta of Mac OS 10.6.5 for developers. The version will reportedly be called 10.6 when it will be ready to be available for everyone. California based Apple has updated the Operating System with new features to make it more complete OS. According to MacRumors.com, Apple has updated iCal, 3D Graphics, Mail, Quick Time, Time Machine and USB Devices.

Apple had reportedly seeded last build of Mac OS X 10.6.5 on September 14. The new build (Build 10H548) comes two weeks after last version (Build 10H542) was released.
The release date of Mac OS X 10.6 is not known. It is about 15 months since last major version of Mac OS X was released by Apple.

Pegatron, which is Taiwan based hardware maker, will start producing the CDMA based iPhone this year. According to multiple reports, Apple will receive four to five million CDMA iPhone / Verizon iPhone 4 units in the first batch.

About one in four current iPhone users are ready to change the wireless carriers from AT&T to Verizon if Apple launches Verizon iPhone 4 by the end of this year.
According to Credit Suisse, 23% of current AT&T iPhone users will change their carrier if Verizon iPhone hits the store shelves. There are around 6 million iPhone users in the United States therefore 23% of users will be about 1.4 million.
The CDMA version of iPhone is only possible if iPhone exclusive contract between Apple and AT&T ends. Major news outlets including Blookberg have already reported that Verizon iPhone will be launched around Christmas 2010.
According to the results, at least 3% of current iPhone users are so excited to get Verizon iPhone 4 that they are ready to break the wireless service contract with AT&T. AT&T charges $350 if someone breaks the service contract. -

Apple released the latest version of its phone, iPhone 4, in June. Apple held another launch event in September but California based Mac Maker skipped the release of Verizon iPhone and White iPhone 4 in both events. There were some rumors in the wireless industry that Apple is planning to make both White iPhone 4 and Verizon iPhone available in the shopping season of 2010. With the new update, it looks like that the rumors about the Christmas release of White iPhone 4 were actually true.

According to reports, both Verizon Wireless and AT&T are testing their 4G systems. Verizon will reportedly start its fast 4G LTE service by the end of this year whereas AT&T will launch the similar service by the mid the next year.
